Tours are available on a first come, first served basis to 51³Ô¹Ï Professional, Associate, and Student members who are registered for the conference. Only conference attendees may participate in these tours.

Pre-Conference Boarding School Tour

May 18 (Monday morning)

Oldfields School is a close-knit environment where girls grow into confident young women. Our signature equine studies program remains the only one of its kind on the East Coast, and one of just two nationwide. Our Riding Academy supports riders of all levels, from beginners to national competitors. Our newly formed partnership with our century-old collaborator, , will allow students to choose between an Equine or Arts concentration and gain real-world experience through off-campus externships. With under 50 students, Oldfields offers 1:1 support for all students, and can be a great fit for students needing a soft, kind place to land after traditional schooling.

When the tour wraps, we’ll make your travel easy with provided transportation to area airports. This is a high-energy, high-value experience that showcases the very best of Baltimore’s independent schools—you absolutely won’t want to miss it!

  • Wednesday, May 20: Depart from the conference hotel at 5:00 p.m. for a collaborative event hosted by the schools on Wednesday evening
  • Thursday, May 21: St. Timothy’s and The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland. The day will wrap up with a collaborative dinner event hosted by the schools.
  • Friday, May 22: Garrison Forrest School
  • Tour ends Friday with drop-off at Baltimore Penn Station (BAL) from Garrison Forest School, and BWI at approximately 1:00 p.m.
  • Book your travel out of BWI no earlier than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22
  • If you prefer to book your travel out of BWI on Saturday, May 23, you will be responsible for identifying and booking your own hotel accommodations for Friday night. The bus will not return to the tour or conference hotel.
  • Registrants must participate in the entire tour utilizing the transportation provided on Thursday and Friday.
  • Schools will provide transportation, meals, and lodging accommodations.
