This passion stems directly from her family’s influence and orientation towards education. Zahra’s parents, Firoz and Saida, have served as leaders in the community and in the field of education, as Directors on the Boards of the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University, and now as President of the Aga Khan University. The Rasul family legacy of promoting academic excellence combined with social responsibility inspired Zahra’s educational and professional journey. Zahra’s unique experience has taken her from inside academia, both as a professor and within admissions, to consulting with students at all age-levels. It’s this inside experience and understanding led her to found Rasul Learning Group. Over the years, the firm has grown from traditional tutoring and high school advising into a flourishing business comprised primarily of admissions work.
