Traecy Hobson is the founder of Admissions on Track. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Whitman School of Business at Syracuse University. Traecy has a professional certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California, Irvine and attended the 2013 Summer Training Institute in Educational Consulting at Swarthmore College. Traecy is a professional member of 51³Ô¹Ï and Vice Chair of the 51³Ô¹Ï Outreach Committee. She is also a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Higher Education Consultants Associate (HECA), and the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Counseling (NJACAC). She regularly attends regional and national conferences. Traecy tours approximately 30 colleges a year and meets regularly with college representatives, deans and faculty. As a college counselor, her firsthand experiences give her a clear understanding of today’s academic programs, vast opportunities and distinct campus cultures. Traecy guides students and their families through all aspects of the college search and admissions process. Her professional marketing and writing background gives her the keen ability to help students find their voice when writing their college essays and positioning themselves in the college application process.
