Before becoming an IEC, Suzanne spent twenty years as a public school educator: teaching high school English students of all grades and ability levels, coordinating a gifted and AP program, and serving as a college counselor. Seeing the increasing stress in her students’ college process led Suzanne to seek a graduate certificate in College Counseling and launch her consulting practice where she works with students from across the United States to build self-honoring educational plans and college applications.
With both of her kids recently graduated from college, Suzanne understands and empathizes with today’s parents; clients regularly report that she has a knack for putting both students and parents at ease during the often stressful college search and application process.

Suzanne is a tribal citizen of Citizen Potawatomi Nation, an LGBTQ+ ally and advocate, a concert goer, a theatre patron, and an Arizona Diamondbacks super-fan (recently ending a 22-year run as an inaugural season ticket holder).
