Crossman Educational Consulting provides full-service, experienced support, guidance and recommendations individually tailored to the specific needs of the family and the diagnoses and opinions of treating professionals. CEC assists at every step of the process from intake and evaluation through program and/or school selection and application, as well as support during placement, assistance after placement in a program or school, progress to subsequent programs, and eventual return from treatment. In situations where school district reimbursement for program costs may be an option, CEC services include close coordination and consultation with a family’s attorney or special education advocate, or referral to health insurance advocate. CEC has completed hundreds of successful placements and makes multiple trips per year to tour and evaluate new and evolving programs across the country. Program recommendations may include boarding schools, wilderness programs, therapeutic boarding schools for adolescents, residential treatment centers, other teen treatment facilities, young adult transition programs, hospitals and recovery and rehab programs. CEC has a long roster of satisfied families who are willing to speak to parents about their experience. Based in New York City on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, with offices in suburban NYC, CT and NC, CEC serves families all across the country.
