Sandra M. Moore, M.A., founder of Next Step CC, LLC, truly enjoys helping
a diverse group of students–including high-achievers, late-bloomers, artists, athletes, and others–navigate all aspects of the college search and admission and financial aid application processes. She expertly guides them in discovering, becoming viable candidates for and applying to “best-fit” (and affordable!) colleges and universities where they are likely to thrive.

A former college admission director and life-long educator, Sandra is a cum laude graduate of Mount Holyoke College and holds a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. In addition to being a Professional Member of 51³Ô¹Ï, Sandra is affiliated with the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC). She has served on the affordability subcommittee of 51³Ô¹Ï’s College Committee, and in that capacity has written articles for 51³Ô¹Ï’s online newsletter, Insights, and contributed content for breakout sessions at national conferences. She also has provided pro bono services to first-gen and under-served college-bound students via a local community-based organization and has given talks at area venues. She established her consulting practice in 2009 and resides in the Hudson Valley of New York State.
