Margaret Szegvari, founder and principal of Szegvari Educational Consulting, has been a change agent in education for nearly 40 years. After 5 years as an English teacher, Margaret went on to earn her Ed.M in Counseling Processes and later her C.A.S. in Educational Leadership both from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.

Building on her expertise as an instructor, counselor, and senior-level school administrator, and with over a decade of comprehensive training and professional development through 51³Ô¹Ï, for over ten years Margaret has successfully guided and supported her clients and their families with intention and depth of skill. She is noted for her ability to connect quickly with teens, discern their needs, and provide structured, targeted support as they develop right-fit college lists and craft applications to effectively share their unique stories and interests. Limiting her caseload to ten students per grade, Margaret is thoroughly invested in each client’s journey.

As a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (51³Ô¹Ï) Margaret has been recognized for abiding by the highest ethical standards, following industry best practices, and remaining current with industry trends and education. In addition to her role as an educational consultant and professional member of 51³Ô¹Ï, Margaret also serves as Executive Director of the Alex Nair Bhak Foundation whose funding empowers the next generation to engage and explore their world and interests through scholarship programs and fellowship opportunities at select institutions in education, wellness, and the arts.
