Dr. Luisa Duarte-Silva worked for over 18 years at Princeton University. She has been providing preparatory school, college, and graduate school advising for U.S. and international students for over 15 years, supporting students of all abilities and backgrounds in finding the perfect match between their interests and the culture of the school they will attend.

We are a small firm with an extremely personalized approach to each student and family.

Our college applicants attend small private and Ivy League universities as well as selective public universities. We help students in their freshman, sophomore, and junior years of high school develop a genuine narrative about themselves that will highlight their unique personality traits in their college applications. This narrative will result from an exploration of who they are, who they would like to become someday, and how they see themselves making a difference in their communities. We guide students to achieve their best GPA; we support them through applications to unique extracurricular activities, essay writing, SAT/ACT testing, interviews, athlete recruitment, music and art portfolios, and the complete college application process. Over 95% of our students are accepted into their first-choice university.

We have been advising students applying to Preparatory Schools and graduate schools in the U.S. and abroad for the past ten years, with 95% of our students being accepted to one of their top 3 schools.

We adapt our work and meeting frequency to each student’s needs and value frequent communication with parents.
