I have been an educational advocate since 1999, representing families with pre – K-12 children with special needs, including learning disabilities (LD), AD/HD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (including Aspergers), highly giftedness, and the twice-exceptional (2e). Since 2010, I have been an independent college counselor, primarily representing transfer students and students with special needs. My background in sociology, health science (health statistics and research), biology, law, and education, with degrees earned from the University of California Berkeley, California State University Northridge, University of Memphis, and University of Southern California, gives me a multidisciplinary view of the interconnectedness of academic studies, work, and real life.
