I am a former admission professional turned independent educational consultant based in Minnesota’s Twin Cities. I am a member of College Connectors, a group practice that offers a guided search and application process to families who seek to work on-on-one with an extraordinary professional to find strong college fits where their students will thrive. Our work can be accomplished through in-person or virtual meetings or a blend of both. Although I work with all types of students on a variety of application matters, I have particular experience with essay development and review. Additionally, I have an understanding of highly selective college admissions and merit aid matters that allows me to demystify both. I have special depth in law school preparation and application and counseling students considering pre-law studies or law school. I graduated from Northwestern University and later earned my law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago before beginning my career in higher education. I am a Certified Education Planner and earned a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California-Irvine. I have also volunteered my time for College Possible, supporting its mission of making college admission and graduation possible for underrepresented students.
