Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions a student will make, but the process can often feel overwhelming for both students and parents. My goal is to simplify college admissions by breaking the journey into manageable steps while providing personalized guidance every step of the way.
As the founder of College Trek, I work with high school students and their families to develop thoughtful college lists, explore majors and career interests, create strategic application plans, navigate the Common Application, develop compelling essays, build resumes, and prepare for interviews. I believe students are far more than their GPA and test scores, and I am passionate about helping each student find colleges where they will thrive academically, socially, and personally.
My work is highly individualized and designed to meet the unique needs of each family. I support students across all academic levels and interests, including student-athletes, performing arts students, neurodiverse learners, and those pursuing a wide variety of academic and career paths. Together, we build balanced college lists that reflect both the student’s goals and the family’s priorities.
To provide the most current and informed guidance possible, I regularly visit college campuses, attend professional conferences, participate in counselor fly-ins, and engage in ongoing professional development. These experiences allow me to offer students firsthand knowledge of colleges and emerging admissions trends.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and earned my Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California, Irvine. Since 2010, I have had the privilege of helping students discover colleges that are the right fit for who they are and who they aspire to become.
