Eileen’s motivation as an Independent Educational Consultant is to encourage students to Think Yes to expand their expectations of themselves and to trust that they are capable of achieving them. The process is invigorating for Eileen and for the families she serves. Eileen has assisted students one-on-one from across the US and China with hundreds of applications, conducted workshops for and given presentations to both students and parents, and has visited and met with admissions offices at nearly one hundred colleges nationwide in order to provide the best advice possible to students. In 2016, Eileen presented Advising International Students at the 51³Ô¹Ï Summer Training Institute. Her current mission is to speak with as many rising freshman parents as possible so that they can educate themselves on today’s college admissions landscape and choose the appropriate route for their student and family. Eileen and her husband, Jim, live in Santa Barbara, CA and have two sons: Matt, a University of Virginia and McIntire School of Commerce class of 2011 graduate now working in finance, and AJ, a 2015 Operations Research and Financial Engineering graduate of Princeton University who is working with a London-based sports analytics company as the head of the Americas.
