I’m incredibly proud of my 51³Ô¹Ï professional membership and work diligently to represent the organization in the broader college admissions process, as a presenter for SACAC’s Inclusion, Access, and Success College Workshops, and in my work with private and public high schools in Washington, NC.
I’ve been helping students since 1996; my goal is to reduce student and parent anxiety and provide resources for each step of the process, from resume building to the college search and course selection to essay writing. I spent seven years writing screenplays and won a number of awards, so I understand narrative arc and can empower students to reflect on their values and experiences to create the most impactful essays possible. I work very hard to establish strong relationships with my students, so they know that there is another adult in their lives who cares deeply for them, is on their side, and will advocate for them at all times. I want students to have wonderful choices and places where they’ll thrive and become their best selves.
