Carolyn Geldermann, the founder and president of Geldermann College Consulting, enjoys working with young adults and guiding them through an exciting transition in their life. In a relaxed and supportive environment, she easily takes on the roles of mentor, guide and cheerleader as they navigate the possibilities. Carolyn earned her BA from Northwestern University in communications and mathematics and an MBA from the prestigious Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Carolyn also holds an Independent Educational Consulting Certificate with Academic Excellence from University of California Irvine and completed the intensive Independent Educational Consultant Association’s (51³Ô¹Ï) Summer Training Institute. Carolyn has visited hundreds of colleges nationwide and is an active member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), the Illinois Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC), the Higher Educational Consultants Association (HECA) and a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (51³Ô¹Ï). Carolyn also serves as a mentor and consultant to Waukegan to College, an organization serving first-generation students. Carolyn lives in Lake Forest with her husband of 35 years and is the mother of four unique children who attended four unique colleges.
