Andrea Whissell-Tsahageas is an independent educational consultant based in Athens, Greece and a member of the team at Big J Educational Consulting. Originally from Western Canada, she has lived and worked internationally for many years and brings a global perspective to her advising. Andrea specializes in working with internationally mobile students, expatriate families, and globally minded applicants who are exploring university options in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and English-taught programs across Europe.

Her work focuses on helping students identify universities that align with their academic interests, personal goals, and financial realities while guiding them through the increasingly complex global admissions landscape.

Active in the global educational consulting community, Andrea serves as Co- chair of the European Regional Group of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and is a member of 51³Ô¹Ï’s Global Committee, where she contributes to initiatives and programming that support international education professionals worldwide.
