I provided upbeat highly personalized college admissions guidance to high school students through adults to identify college options throughout the search, application, and decision process. The experience balances college list creation and visits, including international campuses, with college essay content planning, interview preparation, and financial support options. I guide clients by starting with the initial comprehensive Consultation and continue through all stages of the vision including the merit and financial aid application processes. We discuss a practical plan for potential summer experiences and future career paths through guided research about college majors/minors/certificates using my caring interactions in person or online and my more than two decades of college and career path knowledge. I specialize in matching a college admission strategic admission priority by offering how students can articulate why it matters if they are chosen in a compelling and authentic application. Energetic discussions about multiple essay topics identify the particular strengths for a student to highlight as the student drafts a personal statement and other necessary essays. In addition, I use my training as a credentialed teacher and Language Arts specialist with respect to teaching my editing technique as well as adjusting my approach to clients with diagnosed learning differences.
